Carara National Park

The tour operator will provide transportation that will pick you up from your lodging establishment and drive 20 minutes to Carara National Park. This incredible protected area measures about 4,700 Hectares and is home to approximately 48% of Costa Rica’s aviary species. This Jaco tour will show you the importance of the region, as it is situated in a transitional region between the tropical dry forest and the humid pacific rainforest. This Jaco tour showcases colorful species of flora and fauna from a varied ecosystem. You will be able to spot the Scarlet Macaw, Collared Aracai and various monkey specimens. At the end of this Jaco tour your operator will arrange transportation to take you back to your hotel.

Canopy Tour Los Sueños


This Canopy is a Project designed not only as an extreme adventure, but a way to enjoy nature without harming the environment; our property boasts spectacular views of the Herradura bay and Island, as well as the Nicoya Gulf. Within the property, you will have the opportunity to view the Scarlet Macaws, Chest nut mandible Toucans and white-face monkeys. The property rests on 80 acres of land... 50% of which is primary forest, where the canopy is located. The adventure starts on a 15 minute ride aboard our specially designed 40 passenger tractor. Once we arrive to the top of the mountain we then descend to the bottom via a series of zip lines, including 15 platforms and 14 cables with a total cable distance of 3.5 kilometer including the longest cable in the area of 2400 ft!!!!

Bijagual Waterfall Horseback Riding

A transportation service will pick you up from your hotel and drive 45 minutes through scenic panoramas to the Jaco tour site. Upon arrival you will receive a safety briefing from your guide and you will mount up and set off to explore the area on horseback. You will ride up the trail and observe stunning jungle vegetation which your guide will point out and explain. You will hear the waterfall before you see it, but once you do you will be stunned with its beauty. The Bijagual waterfalls house many secrets of Mother Nature; visitors can explore the area on foot and relish the up close look at exotic flora and fauna. You may be able to observe toucans and scarlet macaws. This Jaco tour is filled with impressive views of the Pacific Ocean and coastal fishing villages. Be sure to take some story worthy snapshots to talk about back home. After you finish this Jaco tour there will be arranged transportation to return you to your lodging establishment.

Horseback Riding Tour Manuel Antonio

The tour operator will provide transportation that will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to the property where you will commence your beautiful tour. During the 1 hrs 40 minute drive to Londres Village where the tour starts your guide will give you a run down on the history of difrents towns. Once you reach Londres you will set foot on a picturesque property that has bathrooms, approximately 3 hours roundtrip and it will be highlighted by views of the valley, verdant vegetation and numerous wildlife species such as birds and reptiles. At the end of the trail there is a beautiful waterfall where you will be able to rest for about 30 minutes. You can lounge on the grass or take a swim. You will then return retracing the same route. At the end of your beautiful tour you will be served a delicious lunch made with local ingredients. Enjoy a little conversation before heading back to your hotel. This beautiful tour does not require previous experience. Children riding alone must be at least 6 years old. Maximum weight for riders is 235lbs.

Jungle River & Crocodile Adventure

Transportation will be arranged to pick you up from your hotel and take you on a picturesque 20 minute road trip to the Jaco tour site. This crazy adrenaline adventure takes you through the marvelous wonders of our rainforest. You will explore the Tarcoles River on our stunning pacific coast. Your guide will point out different kinds of mammals, birds and reptiles that flourish in this mangrove system. Depending on the season you will be able to spot different migratory aviary species; from October to April you can glimpse ospreys, gulls, terns cormorants, pelicans and frigates. There will be numerous opportunities to take incredible pictures on this Jaco tour. When you are finished there will be transportation waiting to return you to your lodging facility.

Manuel Antonio National Park

Transportation provided by the tour operator will pick you up at your hotel from where you will start your 1 hour ride to Manuel Antonio National Park. This protected area is very popular due to its wide variety of flora and fauna. An experienced guide will accompany you on this picturesque hike. Two of the main attractions here are two white sand beaches, Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio Beach, but this protected area also houses coastal rainforests, mangrove swamps, coral formations and islands. Throughout this interesting Jaco tour your guide will stop and explain the different nature specimens that can be observed, you can take photographs or just admire the view. Upon completing this Jaco tour you will be provided with transportation back to your accommodation establishment. The park is closed on Mondays.

You will receive riding instruction, safety tips and practice time, before heading out to explore the rainforest. This Manuel Antonio tour allows you to uncover the exotic secrets that lie within this secondary rainforest. The maximum altitude in this area is 600 meters. You will ride through the mountains without reaching the mountain top. Your horse ride lasts.

Arenal Volcano National Park & Hot Springs

With an early departure, a transportation service will pick you up from your hotel and drive 3 1/2 hours to the Jaco tour site. Your road trip will cross through the central valley and wind through the stunning mountain range. As you drive through quaint villages, pastoral scenery, cloud forest vegetation and other picturesque views, your guide will tell you a little bit about what you see. You will spend the day in the presence of our most active volcano famous for its incredible eruptions, lava streams and incandescent rock explosions, reminiscent of a firework display. During this Jaco tour you will explore tropical gardens and relax in the hot springs. You cannot miss the hot springs, with various mineral water pools with temperatures as high as 102º F. You will return to your hotel feeling relaxed and in touch with nature. Your tour operator will arrange transportation back to your accommodation facility.

Savegre White Water Rafting

Get ready for a day of adrenaline and extreme fun! This Jaco tour provides transportation from your hotel to the river put it. You will enjoy the scenic road trip as it takes you over winding gravel roads through remote countryside landscapes. While you are attempting to tame the rapids of Savegre River, your guide will be riding beside you to ensure your safety. This river features class II and class III rapids. Once you reach the end of the river you will be able to take a closer look at your surroundings and admire the colorful flora and fauna. Your guide will lead you to a stunning waterfall where you will stop for snacks. You can take advantage of this relaxing pause and swim a little in the calm pond nearby. Your guide will help you find notable species of primary jungle vegetation. You will also be served a delicious homemade meal for lunch. Transportation will be arranged to return you to your hotel.

Naranjo White Water Rafting

 A transportation service will pick you up and drive 1 1/2 hours to the river put in. This Jaco tour provides a wild day full of adventure and excitement. Upon arrival you will receive a safety briefing and suit up to hit the rapids. This Jaco tour is a challenging experience perfect for seasoned paddlers. With steep drops through the mountains of Quepos and jungle gorges, you are sure to see incredible scenery. Your Jaco tour guide is a trained professional in first aid, water rapids rescue and mountain rescue. This river rafting adventure allows you to tame class III rapids. After you finish your run you will be served with a delicious homemade lunch, after which transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel. Jaco tour participants should be physically fit.

Villa Lapas Sky Way

Villa Lapas is a natural reserve that borders Carara national park. The Sky Way is an exciting tour that includes 5 hanging bridges, each measuring 100m in length suspended 60m off the ground. Throughout this hike you will be able to observe primary and secondary rainforest vegetation. Keep your eyes open to see the numerous bird species, mammals and other varied fauna that call this forest home. From your new found perspective you will enjoy scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and Tarcoles River (notorious worldwide among crocodile and bird enthusiasts). A guide will accompany you throughout this interesting tour ensuring that you complete this memorable experience knowledgeable on the wildlife and vegetation of our beautiful country. This passive 1 hour is appropriate for all ages.

Catamaran Adventure

Transportation will be provided by your tour operator to pick you up from your hotel. You will travel approximately 20 minutes to the Quepos dock. A guide will take you to the loading platform and help you board the catamaran. You will set sail towards the horizon and cruise over sapphire hued waves. The catamaran will chart a picturesque course departing from Quepos gliding around the back of Manuel Antonio national park. Your guide will point out notable wildlife and vegetation specimens, so be sure to have your camera ready. You will pass by panoramas adorned with islands, cliffs and rock formations. You can admire aviary nesting grounds and marine wildlife. Beverages and snacks are available onboard the catamaran throughout the trip. After touring the coastline, your captain will set anchor on Bisanz beach where you can take advantage of the pit stop to snorkel at this secluded bay. You are most likely to spot parrotfish, starfish, angelfish and if you are lucky a dolphin! During your chartered course you will be able to savor a tasty barbeque lunch onboard the catamaran while admiring the lovely waterscapes. You will then head back to the dock where there will be transportation waiting to take you back to your hotel. This Manuel Antonio tour does not require previous experience. Water visibility varies depending on the season.
